Leicester Marriott Hotel

Hotels are no longer just a place to stay for the night. They are now a place for you to get proper sleep. This place delivers as the rooms are really dark when the lights are off, which is unfortunately rare to find in many poorly designed hotels. The room was not just dark, it was well insulated from noise perspective. They use “this stuff works” which shows you that they have planned for this hotel to work actually as a place for you to relax and recharge. Might not be the fanciest of hotels but it certainly delivers great quality for the price.

Marriott Ambassador level, we stay at a lot of Marriot properties. We were so very pleasantly surprised by this fabulous property...definitely the best Marriot we have stayed at in the UK, by far. Location is near the shopping area and easy to get to without going through in town traffic. Staff are really great. So welcoming and on the ball. They had even set up a lovely birthday surprise for my husband. The executive lounge is far in a way the best one in the UK. The service was excellent and felt on par with the service in the lounges in Asia. The food was also really tasty and fresh. Top notch. Rooms were comfortable and clean, wi fi works well, the gym was nice. All in all, an excellent choice.

Stayed here this week with family, very clean and great rooms looking into the reception. Only gripe I had was the relaxing chairs were stained in my room. For a Marriott hotel I would expect the fabric chairs to be upholstery cleaned as it's not pleasant seeing. However the stay was pleasant and as always the amenities are always worth staying for over the Hilton. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room is clean and comfortable. The outstanding part about this hotel is the staff and service. Their passion to be in the hospitality profession can be felt. They want us to feel welcomed and valued. Kate and the front office values our return to the hotel. We appreciate the effort and welcome gifts. Lenka at the executive lounge made every morning a good start. Didn’t get to know the name of the incredibly tall gentleman who came to refresh our room in the evening and to fix the lobby light. He made sure everything was in order. The leadership at this hotel is making all the right ticks.

Location is great if you are stopping off around Leicester without the hassle of being too central. Rooms are nice and clean with most having tea/coffee facilities and toiletries. Service on arrival and when raising a concern was good and needed to change room which was dealt with cordially and promptly. Service from the bar was great with the girl behind the bar being very friendly and service orientated. Can't remember her name but began with A and was very pleasant. Would stay here again should the need arise.

This is a lovely hotel. Staff are efficient and friendly, gym looked well kitted out, but I did not have time to try it. Rooms spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Bar service was excellent and breakfast buffet was fresh and well stocked.

I would say Excellent Hotel .clean comfortable room. Good food . The outstanding part in this hotel is the staff and service specially our server SHARIF at the breakfast and Market kitchen dinner. who was professional and incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meals

I would like to say this hotel is beautiful. What makes it even more beautiful is the staff. I came in yesterday the 13/2/26 and checked out this afternoon. Sarah who is at the desk was exceptionally polite, professional and helpful. Sarah if you are reading this today 14/2/26, you were on shift and very helpful to me and mine. Thank you Sarah and continue with being professional, you deserve a pay rise. Kitchen staff, breakfast all perfect. I can't fault you guys. Lots of love and I'm coming back again.
